Layer Up Campaign 2023
Warm winter clothes were distributed to 1000 family members at Pico Union Project on the weekend of Oct 14-15
Everything Essential: 500+ families were provided the essentials such as toiletries, bedding, school supplies & more.
In partnership with the Pico Union Project, we collected hundreds of boxes household items and “Everything Essential” for our neighbors in need of a helping hand.
Walking Together Campaign: Over 10,000 pairs of shoes & socks were donated and organized by you!
In support of Shoes for the Homeless, Inc., join us Sunday, Nov. 6 @ West LA College in Culver City to help sort and organize the 10,000+ pairs of shoes & socks that YOU donated! Grab a friend or two and find a time slot that works for you.
Thank You for Joining our “Back to School Shopping Day”
On Sunday August 7th, the Volunteer Collective community worked one-on-one with current and former foster youth, walking through the racks for “Back to School Shopping Day” before they went off to college in the Fall.
In partnership with Community Kitchen Kits, over 200 newly housed families now have a complete kitchen to call their own.
After gathering hundreds of boxes and bags of new and used kitchen items, volunteers came together over the course of two weekends to create almost 200 fully stocked “Kitchen Kits.”
Our School Beautification Project in Support of Boyle Heights
Our friends at Euclid Avenue Elementary in Boyle Heights came to us with a request we couldn’t ignore: their campus needed a makeover to bring more energy and happiness to their halls.
Homelessness Connect Day in Support of our Unhoused Neighbors
Volunteers stepped up to ensure that the numerous Homeless and Housing Services that are being provided for free to the community were easily accessible for the clients across the area.
You stepped up to support the an inspiring Virtual Career Day!
The Virtual Career Day hosted by Promesa Boyle Heights was an exciting time for students to learn about the backstories and experiences that helped professionals get to where they are today.
