You stepped up to support the an inspiring Virtual Career Day!

On April 6, people across the city supported Promesa Boyle Height’s Virtual Career Day.

Did you know that by sharing your career path and professional experience, you can inspire a student to follow their own dreams?

Well the Career Day hosted by our friends at Promesa Boyle Heights did exactly that! Promesa Boyle Heights is a nonprofit located in Boyle Heights that works with middle schools and high schools in the area to improve college and career accessibility to many first and second generation families.

Their annual Virtual Career Day was an exciting time for students to learn about the backstories and experiences that helped professionals get to where they are today. The event was open to all professions, trades, and vocations, who shared their unique backgrounds and experiences with students in attendance.

This virtual event will provided students from Boyle Heights High School, Mendez High School, and Roosevelt High School, as well as surrounding high schools in the Boyle Heights and East LA area, with access to professionals across different fields and pathways.

Events like this are open to all professions, trades, and vocations! We will be sure to share all future opportunities, so keep an eye on your inbox and our website for more info!
